The Emergency First Aid at Work course equips participants with the essential skills needed to manage workplace emergencies. Tailored for low-risk environments, this one-day course encompasses key topics such as incident assessment, CPR, treatment of minor injuries, and an understanding of the responsibilities of a workplace first aider. Participants will develop the confidence to respond effectively to adult casualties in emergencies.

Course Duration: 1 Day, 6 Hrs

  • - Roles and Responsibilities of the First Aider

  • - Assessing an incident

  • - Managing an unresponsive casualty

  • - Performing Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

  • - Placing casualties in the Recovery Position

  • - Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

  • - Assisting individuals who are choking

  • - Responding to seizures

  • - Recognising and managing shock

  • - Treating wounds and controlling bleeding

  • - Addressing minor injuries

  • - Managing cuts, grazes, and bruises

  • - Treating minor burns and scalds
